Project Management Advisor
Gavin is a project management advisor to E2C Bridge Inc and he provides strategic recommendations to the company direction and its consulting and service practices.
Gavin Ashley is an accomplished EPC project management executive with over 20 year experience in executing multi-billion dollar project cross Australia, Asia, North America, Europe and Africa. He has executed projects in multiple industries including mining, metals and oil & gas throughout his career for Xstrata Nickel as an owner operator and for Fluor as an EPCM contractor. At Fluor over 12 years, Gavin’s projects expertise has evolved rapidly from project mechanical engineer to global sourcing practice director, to an operations & maintenance business sales role, to commissioning & start up engineer, to area construction manager and finally to a project manager.
Following on from his foundation in global project execution with Fluor Corporation, Gavin has spent six years working on the owners' implementation of projects and served on the Executive Management Team for Xstrata Nickel as the Vice President & Project Director. Particularly, he has executed successfully Koniambo, a $5B nickel mine and plant out of New Caledonia in the pacific.
Gavin has developed a holistic business perspective on project implementation and brings practical mega project experience to E2C Bridge advisory panel.
Gavin has a BEng degree in mechanical engineering and BSc degree in applied mathematics and IT from the University of Western Australia.
